Summer is here and the high temperatures across the nation are bringing out some silly behavior. That’s exactly what we are featuring today for our Friday Photo Essay.
Summer is a great time of year to put away your inhibitions and just have a great time. These people (and animals) have the right idea. Enjoy…
Somewhere under there is probably a dad with a lot of lazy kids.
Apparently cats enjoy sun bathing too. Who’da thunk it.

Getting a close-up view of a cicada. Those are the bugs that make all the noise in the summer.
If I’m not mistaken, this is the fashion police making an arrest.
Dogs are the smartest animals in the world.
Case in point ^ These guys found a cool spot in the sandbox.
This smart guy figured out a way to turn on the hose and make a nice fountain.
You know it’s hot when the ice cream truck melts.
The creature from the black lagoon. Either that or a kids having a great time swimming.
When kids get bored in the summer, they think of very odd things to do.
A summer snowman… or sandman.
Always wear your sunscreen.
And your floaties.
Unless you’re a tiger.
When you need to cool off and you don’t have a pool… make one!
